Le passage à l'euro fiduciaire

Lituanie 2015

Le 23 juillet 2014, le Conseil de l'Union européenne a approuvé la demande d'adhésion à la zone euro de la Lituanie, le 1er janvier 2015. Le taux de change fixe irrévocable a été établi à €1= LTL 3,45280.


 

L'ÉCHANGE DES BILLETS ET DES PIÈCES EN LITAS LITUANIENS

LES BILLETS EN LITAS POUVANT ÊTRE ÉCHANGÉS

  • Dans les bureaux de poste, auprès de coopératives de crédit et des banques Les billets et les pièces en litas peuvent être échangés gratuitement dans 330 bureaux de poste et certaines coopératives de crédit en Lituanie au taux de conversion irrévocablement fixé, jusqu'au 1er mars 2015. Ils peuvent être échangés aux guichets de toutes les banques jusqu'au 30 juin 2015. Certaines banques continueront d'échanger les billets en litas jusqu'au 31 décembre 2015

  • Aux guichets du Lietuvos bankas La banque centrale échangera les billets et les pièces en litas au taux de conversion fixé sans limitation de montant et pendant une période indéterminée. Ce service est également gratuit.Adresses du Lietuvos bankas

  • Aux guichets des autres banques centrales nationales de la zone euro Elles échangeront les billets en litas gratuitement, au taux de change fixe, du 1er janvier au 28 février 2015. Le montant maximum est limité à 1 000 euros par client et par transaction sur la journée. Adresses des BCN de la zone euro

 

 

 

CAMPAGNE D’INFORMATION SUR L’EURO

La Banque centrale européenne (BCE) et le Lietuvos bankas mènent une campagne d'information conjointe. Elle comprend les actions suivantes :

  • la production et la distribution de publications sur les billets et les pièces en euros et sur le passage à l'euro fiduciaire. En particulier, chaque ménage en Lituanie recevra une brochure intitulée Êtes-vous prêt ?

  • une campagne d’information dans les médias s’appuyant sur deux courtes vidéos montrées à la télévision et en ligne, décrivant en anglais et en lituanien le passage à l’euro fiduciaire et la manière de vérifier les billets et les pièces en euros. La campagne se fera également à l’aide de supports d’information imprimés, d’affiches et de messages en ligne ;

  • une conférence de haut niveau sur l’euro, qui a eu lieu le 25 septembre 2014 ;

  • l'Exposition sur l'euro, au Palais des grands-ducs de Lituanie, à Vilnius (Katedros a.4), du 23 octobre 2014 au 5 janvier 2015 ;

LETTER OF INTENT

We wish to use the electronic media and/or print media produced by the European Central Bank (ECB) to inform others. We declare that:
1. Any information or materials received from the ECB will be used for information purposes only.
2. We will not use the “€ OUR MONEY” logo for purposes that could be detrimental to the euro, or for commercial or advertising purposes, and we will adhere to the style guidelines provided in the Partnership Programme.
3. Any electronic materials, pictures, files or documents provided by the ECB will remain its sole property. The ECB will reserve its or third-party copyrights. We will not pass any information or materials received from the ECB to any third party, except for production purposes.
4. Should we use the original master files of materials prepared by the ECB, we will preserve the integrity of the text.
5. We pledge to follow the reproduction rules for euro banknotes and coins as published in the Official Journal of the European Union and available on the ECB’s website at www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/reproduction/html/index.en.html.
6. If we use electronic media online, we will include a link to www.new-euro-banknotes.eu and we will inform the ECB of the material used and where it has been used. We will forward the links.
7. We understand that stocks of ECB materials for distribution are limited. We will inform the ECB of the number of copies distributed, the means of distribution as well as the target groups.
On behalf of the company/institution mentioned above, we declare that we will refrain from using any materials either in printed or electronic form provided by the ECB until our membership of the Partnership Programme has been confirmed.
We will be liable for any damages incurred by the ECB should we not act in accordance with this Letter of Intent. We also understand that the ECB reserves the right to terminate our membership at any time.
